Graduate Electronics Engineer - UK Immediate - Fareham Office Based
We are looking for a motivated and talented graduate that is looking to fast track their career by bringing problem solving know how and innovation to the team. You will work closely with our experienced and dedicated Engineering team to design custom computer equipment for use in harsh environments. Key attributes that we are looking for:

- Excellent C/C++ programming skills, with an interest in PC architecture based embedded software and ideally some web programming (php desirable).
- Excited by the latest computer technology, yet well grounded in operating systems (Windows and Linux), server configuration, windows drivers and embedded OS applications (e.g. Windows 7 embedded).

Project Manager UK - Immediate
Captec's expanding Engineering capability has given rise to the requirement for a talented Project Manager. The expansion in capacity and project complexity necessitate the appointment of an experienced manager capable of dealing with a multi disciplined technical team to deliver custom projects within budget and on time, every time. The manager will need to handle several projects simultaneously ensuring that the Engineering processes are adhered to and developed as required. Key Requirements are:-
- Demonstrable track record of theoretical and practical, multi-discipline project management. Including fast turnaround as well as longer timescale support programmes technical projects to agreed timescales and budgets.
- Strong motivational skills with an ability to maintain and drive multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent Customer (internal and external) facing skills including programme negotiation and scope change control. Providing a strong and clear communication channel to all stakeholders.
- Conversant with project management best practice techniques. Able to enforce and instigate project controls and KPIs.
- Organised and tidy with good time-management. Self motivating and able to learn new skills quickly.
- Proven ability of accurate and pragmatic estimating and budgeting
- Self motivated and able to react quickly to project variance from plan. Able to handle pressure to meet deadlines yet flexible, adaptable and accepting change.

Assistant Accountant UK - Immediate
The company objective and mission is to take this business to stock exchange listing via IPO by 2015. To groom the business accordingly, we are strengthening our Finance Team in readiness for this challenge.
We are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join a team of 3 in Finance department, reporting directly to Finance Director.
In this key position you will be responsible for preparation of annual budgets and forecasting; manufacturing variance analysis; submission of electronic quarterly VAT returns; preparation of monthly management accounts package; maintaining integrity of the general ledger and control account reconciliations; processing credit card purchases and employee expenses; undertaking internal audits; assisting in yearend accounts and liaising with company Auditors; understanding financial impact of transactions carried out by the newly introduced ERP system; many other departmental functions
